'Rattling' BTO's cage?

Being the only person regularly walking around The Lodge at the moment (or at least seemingly so), Andy Schofield found another difficult reserve bird yesterday. It was a singing Lesser Whitethroat by the quarry entrance. Number 124.

I guess we should start looking at things other than birds now...

  1. No worries Steve - one (of many) we were expecting the Jammies* to grip-back. After averaging 0.63 bird species a day during April we've hit a wall this end, though not through lack of effort. On the other hand, the AL bit of TEAL is rattling along nicely... you may want to get your skates on!

  2. Hey Steve, I'm at the Lodge next Monday for a meeting. Might have to check out the view of this legendary gravel pit...

  3. Don't worry, Nick - the AL is ticking along nicely, its just I'm not doing very much of it!

Andy - drop me a line and let me know when you're over and I'll gladly show you 'the view'!
