Following on from Mike's blog about other less important invertebrates, he also passed over a couple of spiders to get us started on that major group here at the BTO.
Tegenaria duellica (female) from a nest box, and
Clubiona lutescens (male) from leaf litter in the grounds. Being a northerner and mostly working on upland and agricultural areas,
T. duellica was new to me - how exciting!! And it's not even March yet!
